Tensilkut Tensilbits and Templates, standard specifications available for Tensilkut machines.

Tensilkut is a precision milling machine designed specifically for machining flat tensile samples from metals and non-metallic materials.  Tensilkut machined specimens are free of induced heat or cold working distortion, and are accurate to within +.0005”.  A sample can be machined in a few minutes by lab technicians with no previous machining experience

With the 10-80 series Tensilkut II machines, tensile samples can be machined from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and a wide range of plastic and non-metallic materials.  The configuration of the specimen is traced from precision master templates to achieve contour duplication within +.001”.  The test strip is clamped in the template, which is manually adjusted using the Tensilkut micrometer control
