The Environmental Chamber for mechanical testing is designed for carrying out tests under extreme thermal conditions, with an operating range from -70C to +300C.The chamber is equipped with a digital microprocessor - based temperature controller, a liquid nitrogen cooling system with solenoid valve, and a fully insulated structure to ensure temperature uniformity and test repetability. Temperature homogeneity on the sample is ensured by forced air circulation trough a horizontal fan, while a double safety system provides continuous protection against over-and under- temperature conditions, with automatic shudown of heating elements and fan when door is opened.

The robust mechanical design includes an internal structure made entirely of polished stainless steel, insulated interspaces for high thermal efficiency, and front-opening door with double locking system. The Chamber is supplied complete with internal lighting, condensation drip tray, heat dissipation disks to minimize thermal drift on load cells and a mobile base with wheels and tracks.
